GSX groups are  taking action to support reaching Net Zero Carbon emissions.

There are many actions that an individual can take such as using public transport,cycling,not flying,

buying local food,installing solar panels,plant trees and reduce waste.

Local councils have agreed to declare a Climate Emergency inorder to reduce emissions and protect biodiversity.

Local groups are helping to produce action plans for towns such as Bridgnorth and Ludlow.

Shropshire council has agreed to a Climate Framework  and the task force has published the Corporate Climate Strategy.

Telford and Wrekin council has set up a new website with details of climate action and plastic action

GSX will be involved with the partnerships set up by the councils and work to develop the vision for 2030

Shropshire climate action partnership has published the Zero carbon Shropshire plan

South Shropshire Climate action group held a conference in 2020 and is working to produce a report.

Marches LEP has produced an Energy strategy and GSX is represented on the Energy steering group

which will develop projects across the Marches region.

Bridgnorth have discussed proposals and will develop action plans.
